About
First Church of God Fort Lauderdale was founded in 1951. Affiliated with Church of God Ministries headquartered in Anderson, IN, our mission is to orient lives toward Christ.

Our campus, the Sonlight Center is named to honor Jesus Christ as the light of the world. Our teachings are based in the Holy Bible. We believe that God sent His son Jesus as a sacrifice as John 3:16-17 states

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."

Sunday Celebration
Join us on
Sunday mornings at 11am ET for our Sunday Celebration. Our hybrid service caters to our geographically diverse membership. You are welcome to join our worship in-person or online.
Bible Study
Our Bible Study sessions are informative and engaging. We are looking forward to sharing with you on Wednesday evenings at 8pm ET. Bible studies are online only.
